Tonight I tried to add a vignette via the burn tool. This is my first try and it is FAR from perfect. Very splotchy, actually. But that's okay because I am stoked to be learning something!

My favorite way to add vignette (maybe you know already) is to copy photo, multiply it and then cut the multiply out with refine edge... do you understand what I mean? Maybe you already knew that but I think it looks pretty natural like that.
Oh.....way too many steps. I am all about easy peasy. Once again call me! I think you need your diameter on the burn tool larger and a smaller opacity! Then only put like 1/2 the circle actually onto the edge of the photo. Does that make any sense?
what Jen said!
Opacity at around 10%, big ol' brush
If you shoot RAW there is an actual vignette tool in he Camera RAW program that lets you seriously just drag a stinkin arrow to increase the size and opacity of a vignette... that's it. It's sooooo easy! :)
But I might try that multiply way, too!
Wow, what a difference. The after picture is amazing.
